Gowdhami Mohan M.D. – Medical director
Dr. Gowdhami Mohan completed medical school and a rotating residency at Madurai Medical College in Madurai, India. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois. Her fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine was at Case Western Reserve University in Clevland. She is board-certified in sleep medicine.
Dr. Mohan worked as a private practitioner for 30 years in South Carolina before she moved to Clarksdale.
Chitra Subra Mani M.D. – Co-medical director
Dr. Mani is the Co-Medical Director of the Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre. She is an American board-certified Pediatrician with sub-board certification in Pediatric Infectious Diseases for more than 30 years. Prior to moving to Clarksdale, MS, Dr. Mani was a Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease in the Department of Pediatrics, at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta University, Augusta, GA.
Dr. Mani has spent most of her vacation working in charitable clinics and hospitals in India. She took an early retirement to work full-time in our clinic.
Yamuna Ekambaram – M.D.
Dr. Yamuna completed a 3-year Residency Program in General Pediatrics in New York City from 1976-1979. Following this she went into Private Pediatric Practice for about 10 years in NY and Mobile, AL. She was attracted by an open position for a Civilian Pediatrician at Fox Army Community Health Center/Hospital at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama, in January 1989, where she held the position of Chief of Pediatrics for several years until her retirement in November of 2019, close to 31 years of service in the US Armed Forces.
She has volunteered in several Free Medical Clinics both at home and abroad and participated in disaster Medical relief programs overseas. Her love of selfless service for the underprivileged prompted her to retire from the Civilian Military position in order to serve the Community at the Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Center, Clarksdale, MS.
Raj Dave – M.D.
Dr Raj Dave has been residing in the Memphis area since last 31 years practicing General and interventional cardiology. He has been providing his expertise in cardiology services at the Sai Sanjeevani clinic in Clarksdale MS since last 1 year.
Jeanne Mariah Lilly – PHD
Dr. Jeanne Mariah Lilly, PhD, is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years’ experience in the mental health field. She has a doctorate from Ohio State University, and has worked in community mental health and college counseling. Her clinical work has included working with adolescents and adults who have experienced such issues as trauma, substance abuse, and family discord, and has involved individuals from various cultural backgrounds. Dr. Lilly has also taught college academic courses, as well as programs in mindfulness and yoga nidra, with training both from the former Center for Mindfulness in Wooster MA and the Yoga Academy of North America in Cleveland OH. She also has an interest in values education, having volunteered in school settings and provided values-based training in the community.
After working for 14 years at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, as a psychologist at the Counseling Service and as Contemplative Life Coordinator for the college’s Office of Spiritual Life, Dr. Lilly retired in 2022 and moved to Clarksdale to serve as a psychologist at our clinic.
Dr Purvisha Patel – M.D.
Born in London, she did her medical school studies at the University of Virginia. She did her dermatology training at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology
She sees patients at SSMG Clinic once a month to take care of the patients with skin disorders
Dr. Tamilarasi Kannan – M.D.
Internist in Charolette, NC with special interest in Psychiatry. Offers Tele-Mental Health Service to our patients two Saturdays a month from 9-11AM (CT)
